Nyambz – Hype Sessions Vol. 16: Murk Season
This is one of the best volumes from Hype Session mix-tapes,
which is mixed by Nyambz, a great procuder who has worked with the cream of SA's dope emcees, from Proverb to Tumi of Tumi & The Volume and Zubz..
it's an enjoyable tape from the intro, well i didn't buy the tape, i stole it from my homeboy and it's been in my hands ever since. thou The Hype series has lost it's plot and is now a mainstream tape, all the tapes that came before this one are tight. incl: vol 3, 9, 12.. Vol 12 i took from some chick,lol..
So if you see this tape lying on your homie's bed, snatch and run!!!!!!!!!

SA's Current Dope Khats
I'm currently feeling each of these guys music, they've managed to keep things raw.
A friend of mine gave me Abdus's mixtape years back and I've been rocking it ever since, Illskills and Zakwe I've only heard a lil bit of their music, but it's nice and real. Since Zakwe is signed by native rhythms it's pretty obvious that his music is raw and true to what he represents.
I haven't been to Cape Town and I don't personally know what Illskills is up to, but from the looks of things, they are holding it down, afterall they had a german tour.

JHB just isn't showing any concrete stuff that can be seen on the surface, I guess commerce took over the movement
